The Blackbird Coffeehouse

Port Angeles, WA

Our visit: June 25 and 26, 2024

The Blackbird Coffeehouse has a homey, slightly boho vibe, and perfectly fits Port Angeles, a town of 20,000 and the largest outpost on the Olympic Peninsula. Good coffee and homemade breakfast sandwiches, quiche, and pastries made this stop a no-brainer the second day in a row.

The Blackbird made all four of us happy, and that’s hard to do. Zeevi and I enjoyed everything we had here and got items to eat later in the day while we were driving or hiking far from town. We ordered smoothies and food for the girls as well. And when they got our order wrong one time, they gave us an extra item for free.

The locals clearly love it – and were greeted by name when they came in. This charming coffeehouse is off the beaten track, and  we were glad we found it!
